Chief Executive Officer
Since the company’s establishment in 2009, Howard Kirshner has served as Xtend’s president and now CEO. Along with Tom O’Neill, in 1990 he founded Advanced Receivables Strategy, which later became ARS-Perot Systems Healthcare Revenue Cycle Group, and served as its President. In 2009, he and Tom formed Xtend Healthcare after acquiring majority interest in another revenue cycle company.
A pioneer in the revenue cycle industry, Howard helped grow Advanced Receivables Strategy from seven to 680 employees and from $894,000 in annual revenue to $70 million before the sale of that company to Perot Systems in 2001.
Howard earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
